Billing and payments

Zonos invoices you directly to collect duties and postal clearance fees on the shipments you create with your Verified Account, including U.S.-bound postal shipments valued under $2,500 USD and shipments to supported EU destinations. For EU shipments that use Zonos' IOSS number, the invoice also includes the taxes (VAT), which Zonos remits to the EU under its IOSS number.

Zonos charges the card on file only after your parcels are inducted into the postal stream, then remits the duties to the destination's customs authority. Charging after induction means you're billed only for parcels that are actually shipped, not for labels that are created but never sent. Charges are batched and auto-billed daily.

This billing flow applies to every Verified Account shipment, whether you create labels through a supported platform, the Zonos Dashboard, or the Zonos API.

The postal clearance fee is listed in your Zonos Dashboard under Settings → Billing, in the Plan section.
